Steve was born and raised in Claiborne County on the family farm. Today, he raises cattle on the same land. This life is enhanced by the love of God and family. Honesty, a good work ethic and privileges of land ownership are valuable lessons he learned from this experience. He believes in being a good steward of the land and leaving it in better condition than when acquired.

He is co-owner and broker of LedgerPurvis Real Estate, LLC. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1980 with a degree in business. He is a member of the Realtor Land Institute and a Seller Representative Specialist. He is a member of the Hermanville Baptist Church. He enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his daughter and son-in-law, Blair and Justin, and two grandchildren, Molly and Walker, on the family farm.

He has experience in agriculture, commercial, investment, residential, recreational and timberland brokerage. His work experiences from labor to management to business ownership have given him the skills, tools and knowledge to serve as your representative in any real estate transaction.
